Michal Koszycki, Margaret Jensen, ...

A week long performance / list keeping in the Logan Center Gallery by Maggie Jensen and Michal Koszycki. Passers-by would submit a name (any name of their choosing), written on a piece of paper through an opening by the glass gallery wall. Inside the artists were busy inscribing the submissions onto the room's walls.

The gallery interior ended up covered by text to an extent allowed by the duration of the project - about one week, after which the space was opened to visitors for viewing.

Some submitted their own name, others - those of their loved ones, yet others - those of personages thought to upset the project. Names thus assembled into this social work (a poem?) act as raw material, an archive of history and language beyond the intentions of any contributor, as well as reflect the proximate community.
