CMU blocks are a good find. Fairly proportioned. Flexible assembly unit. Like atoms they consist of a paradox, both solid and void. “Chair“ belongs to a series of sculptures where I rebuild everyday objects into this roughly hewn object-order of CMU brick.

Each CMU sculpture has 2 major views : front (empty) and side (full).
